A Case Story about nVision Mobile

The F&H Group is Scandinavia's largest wholesaler of hardware. Every day, they update their entire inventory with new products. A new variant, a new collection, a new design. In total, this results in over eight thousand different item numbers that the salespeople need to stay updated with.

How would you communicate this information to the salespeople so they can include new products in their presentations?

For some companies, this task involves heavy administrative work, but the answer is straightforward for the employees at F&H. Since 2012, they have been using nVision mobile from nSales. This means they have a visual platform that compiles all items from day to day.

“It makes a huge difference for our salespeople,” says B2C Manager Morten G. Hansen. “They simply cannot do without the system, and if it occasionally doesn't work, there's an uproar. It has become their most important sales tool.”

Previously, we drove around with catalogs and hand terminals. “The salespeople had to carry heavy catalogs, which they then flipped through with the customer. This has now been reduced to a minimum of catalogs, as we can instead showcase collections and products via the iPad. This has also resulted in significant savings on our print materials,” Morten says with a smile.

F&H uses nVision mobile in their sales, which provides a virtual showroom where they can categorize and showcase their products. The platform is updated every single day without exception, so the salespeople can always see and stay updated on the latest products.

All-in-one sales tool. “If the customer calls for a quote, the salespeople simply use their iPad to find the product and send a quote directly via nVision. At the same time, the salespeople are always updated on new items and products directly via nVision. If we create an item today, it will be on the iPads for the salespeople tomorrow, which they will see immediately because the new products will be at the top,” Morten explains.
